Cimorelli is an american singing group popularized by its members in Youtube, thanks to their covers. It’s formed by six sisters, Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren and Dani. 

They started in 2007, with their older brother Michel Cimorelli, posting covers in youtube but in 2009 when Dani reached 9 years she joined the band and Michael left. They became famous when they did a cover of Miley Cyrus’ song Party in the U.S.A. which became viral in 2010. From that day, they continued doing covers and in 2012 they made their first studio album, an EP with original songs called Believe it, then they released Made in America in 2013. That same year they did their first tour all over the country and won the Teen Choice Award for the Web Star. In 2015 they released their first full length album called Up at night. They started with acapella music but, with the time they introduced instruments and finally they used  the base. 

 Christina Cimorelli: she is the oldest sister, and the founder of the band. She is the songwriter, the pianist, the choreographer and the vocal arranger. She is considered as the leader of the ban

      Katherine Cimorelli: she is the second-oldest and the bassist. She was the one who forced her sisters to do the Party in the U.S.A cover that made them famous.
      Lisa Cimorelli: She is the third-oldest sister. She is the harmony arranger, pianist and drummer. She is the one with the longest vocal range, as  a soprano she is the one who can reach the highest notes    

    Amy Cimorelli: Is the fourth-oldest sister. She is the guitarist and the pianist. She has mild Turner Syndrome causing her to be the shortest of the sisters. 
          Lauren Cimorelli: she is the fifth-oldest sister, the tambourine and the pianist. She is a soprano, like her sister Lisa but she can’t reach the same notes that Lisa can. 
     Dani Cimorelli: she is the smallest of the sisters, guitarist and choreographer. Her complete name is Danielle but everyone calls her Dani. She is the sister that can reach the lowest notes as a contralto

They reached fame posting covers in youtube. Some of their most famous covers are Call me maybe, What it makes you beautiful, Cups and Price tag.

They focus on doing covers of popular music of very different artists. They use the base and then each girl does a part of the main melody and the rest perform different voices.

This six girls are part of the Cimorelli family, they were all born in Sacramento, California but then they moved to Malibu for helping the sisters on their career. Then for job needs they moved again to Tenesse. The family has thirteen members, the two parents and eleven sibilings. The family has said to be catholic, that’s why normally the girls change the lyrics of some songs that they consider too sexual.
All of the sisters except Lisa have a deformity in their limbs, they cannot totally stretch their arms and all of them, except Christina have a deformity in their fingers.
