Best and worse covers

There are thousands of good covers, some were so good that became more famous than the original ones and now they are not known as covers.

I’ve based my opinions in the instruments, the singing and the different webpages that thought that those were the best and worst. Those are personal opinions, I have inclouded covers that I consider are not the best.

Some of them are:

1. Girls just wanna have fun: this song was first recorded by Robert Hazard before Cindy Lauper made her version and made the song famous

2. If I were a boy:it was first recorded by a non very known songwriter called BC Jean but then Beyonce made it famous

3. Valerie: we know this song because of Amy Winehouse but it wasn’t hers. It was first performed by The Zutons.

4.  Torn: it became famous when Natalie Imbruglia recorded but it was first done by Ednaswap

Just like there’s some great covers, in history of music there are some that are remembered because of their failing.

Some of them are:

1.  Smells like teen spirit: we have all heard this tune from Nirvana but when Miley Cyrus did a cover everyone agreed. No one liked it.

2.  Hello Goodbye: everyone thinks that you can’t do a version of The Beatles as they are uncomparable but some people is still trying. The Jonas Brothers tried to do it they failed.

3.  One Way or Another: even we all think that One Direction is a good group they didn’t made their best job with their version of Blondie. It was very criticized.
